Chalet Cordillera

At the heart of Edwards, Colorado, Chalet Cordillera embodies a new vision of contemporary mountain living, where the warmth of Alpine tradition meets the refined aesthetic of industrial-inspired design.

For this residential project, Barausse supplied approximately forty interior doors featuring the exposed wooden NG frame, all finished in Ash Grey stained Oak and configured in a variety of solutions, including single-leaf, double-leaf, and sliding doors. Alongside the standard models, several elements were specially prepared to meet specific architectural requirements: the elevator shaft enclosure, designed to accommodate an integrated safety system, and a distinctive barn-style door that complements the residence's contemporary material palette.

Chalet Cordillera reflects Barausse's ability to translate architectural vision into functional and elegant solutions, seamlessly integrating doors into the overall design through the use of standard models and finishes enhanced by meticulous attention to detail. It demonstrates how a standardized product, intelligently engineered, can respond with equal effectiveness to both construction requirements and design ambitions.
